This is the first painting I did when covid hit and I was isolated for many months on my boat art studio in Georgia. There was no one around and food was delivered to me as well as laundry picked up. As we all know that was the start of the hell. This is sure to be a collectable like any art or publication during the plagues, yellow fever, etc.. Unfortunately I will be long gone before this piece hits Christies auction house. An artists value increased dramatically after he passes. So unfortunate for the artist. I have many paintings all around the world starting in 1965.
This painting is full of emotion, pain, worry, intensity, confusion, anger, hope and solitude
From the composition to the color it has much to say and deliberately keeps your eyes in the work. Painted over the first month of the pandemic.
